Firstly may I welcome you to the west section BIGGA Blog.
It has been an ongoing discussion for a number of years how to keep members up to date more regularly with business regarding the west section.
The committee have discussed all options and decided to look at the use of a Blog to over come this which we will keep up to date by publishing news on outings, seminars etc.
We would also like to encourage members to submit suggestions, any special events or occasions to improve the Blog experience and answers any polls running.
We will be compiling a data base of all west section members e mail address so please submit yours to either gerrybruen1@btinternet.com, jarvisgav@aol.com
We would also like to encourage members to submit pictures to the same address as above of peak course conditions, ongoing projects, course wildlife which we can run as a slide show to show and educate younger greenkeepers in the different techniques applied at different courses.

I like this, very good indeed. However I was shocked to find out that Michael McLearie (committee member) Had moved from Haggs to Cowglen without me knowing. Scott
