I travelled through to St Andrews for the National which was hosted by the Dukes course.

The course was in excellent condition and although we played of white tees (The middle yardage for the course) it presented a great test of golf and one which was too much for me and a few others I may add.

The west section was well represented and everyone I spoke to enjoyed there day.

It was announced on the day that Peter Boyd our regional administrator will be retiring soon and I would like to wish Peter all the best in your retirement I would imagine there will be a few more rounds at Fereneze getting played and thank you for all your work in our region.
